Go To File - New Database
Click On 'New Database...' You will get following window -
Click on 'Browse...' Button. Select Any Blank Folder & click 'Create' Button. Change the other settings as following Image -
Click 'OK' Button. Now New Database has been created.
Do not Close Amibroker.
Start 'CEM EOD Data Downloader & Converter'. Click on 'Download Data From BSE & NSE'
You will get following window -
Select Proper Date Range & Click 'Download' Button. After Download completes, Click 'Organize Favorite Script' from Main Menu, as shown below -
You will get the window as follow
Click 'Open' button & select any downloaded NSE EOD file. All scripts name will be extracted & you will get scripts in right panel. 'Right Click' on right side panel and select 'Add to Favorite', as shown below-
In this way add your favorite scripts to your 'Favorite List' or If you want to add all scripts to your favorite, select 'Add All to Favorite'.
This step is needed only first time you start to use this software. Data Conversion will be done only for your Favorite scripts. This will save time in unnecessarily conversion of all scripts.
Now select 'Direct to Amibroker' from Main Menu. (Make sure that 'Amibroker' is running)
You will get the following window-
Select proper date range (EOD Data for that dates should be download first, as explained in above steps). Now select any script & 'Right Click' on it for options, as shown below -
Click desired menu & you will get data in 'Amibroker'.
If you needs data of all scripts of NSE in 'Amibroker', then use 'Direct EOD files to Amibroker'. This is very fast but you may face 'series' problem i.e. if any script is in more then one series(BQ,EQ,N1 etc.), data may be mixed.
