Song: Eyes Wide Open (acoustic version)
Artist: King Crimson
Album: Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With (2002 - EP)

Mellow.

This EP is like a preview--a postcard rather than a love letter--of the album The Power To Believe (2003), on which appears the electric version of this song, which doesn't sound too different, but I think this acoustic version sounds better. It's a nice little song, not too hard (it's acoustic, duh), but not too too soft either. This one does have lyrics. Eyes Wide Open is also the name of a DVD of live stuff from 2003 or something.

And here is a live version of Larks' Tongues in Aspic - Part IV from the same Happy... EP (the studio version is from The ConstruKction of Light [2000]), which apparently you are still afraid to download. The live version is better because it doesn't have all that clutter from the electronic drums and over-dubbed guitars. And the guitar solo about 2 minutes in makes you think his fingers would melt or something--it's so fast that the little bit of processing and stuff he's got on the guitar can't keep up and starts blurring notes. However, this coda doesn't have any lyrics.
