A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I would like to thank each and every person who has helped in any way at all, from volunteering to donations and even those who offered an idea or some advice. Each of you have helped to make Brianna's Blessings come this far.

Brianna's Blessings has gone through a lot of changes since it first came to mind. This whole experience to me has been a blessing. I will admit that there were plenty of ups and downs, happy times, times of excitement, disappointing times, frustrating times and times where I didn't know what to feel. However; there are no regrets to what I was doing. Every emotion and time spent creating Brianna's Blessings has left me feeling as though this facility was meant to be. This community has shown me that there are plenty of businesses and people who support Brianna's Blessings and want to help. As time went by, from the first moment of trying to start this project, to the present, so many changes have happened. With the location and size of the facility to the way it would be set up, Brianna's Blessings went from being a place that was intended only for the families who had a child with special needs into a full community center that would benefit everyone that would come to visit.

There were some road blocks that came in our way when it came to fundraising and also trying to get some donations due to weather and businesses (people) not being sure what Brianna's Blessings was all about. As time goes on, more and more people and places are hearing about Brianna's Blessings and it has been so rewarding to hear them comment on how wonderful of an idea they feel it is and how they feel it will be a great place for their family to visit. One major road block was the original site crashing and having no way to let everyone know where to go for our new site. It is frustrating when all of the advertisement led to one location and yet it appeared that we no longer existed. Also, the money spent on paperwork and products that also led to that location was lost in the process. Our original website had over 7,400 visits all within 3 months! This was amazing to me! The new website is struggling some, but I feel will improve as people get to know of the new address. We are still trying to get the word out about our new website address and hope that we will have everyone knowing of the change in the near future.

Throughout this time, I have met so many wonderful people and families that I would not have met. I have learned about so many syndromes and resources. Also, I have experienced how to care for a child requiring special needs, patience, and what so many families go through when they have a child that requires so much medical care. This has made me stronger, I feel, as well as more aware of the dedication, determination and unconditional love that comes when you have a child who depends on you 24/7.

Again, thank you everyone, for giving me the support and wisdom to help others in our community. If it were not for you, Brianna's Blessings would not be able to exist. Each of you are a true hero!
