Hi, I've been playing the drums since I was 12 years old and started playing jazz professionally when I was just 14. I learned all the standards and how to play the different kinds of rhythms from the wonderful musicians I worked with in the beginning. My drum teacher was the house drummer for a respected Supper Club in Dayton, OH, and he would take me down to his rehearsals to show me how the charts were read and arranged. I played throughout the years in groups from duos to big bands, the music forever weaving its romance and intrigue into my heart and that is how my soul found its purpose. I am continuing that purpose now by unleashing the information I gained and giving it to you through live and spontaneous performances.
