Viewpoint - September 2009 - My Mission Statement I am forever concerned that most wildlife studies are excellent in their work and commitment and present good recommendations. But, escape their responsibility by blaming non-implementation on "lack of political will". I feel that it is only an excuse to be an exclusive wildlifer, wildlife biologist or an environment scientist without taking into account the first objective of any nature conservation study - "Ensure nature conservation". It is essential that environmental concerns, nature conservation objectives and development perspectives converge to achieve sustainable development along with ensuring political strength to local communities to protect nature.
