                 On behalf of the committee members and as Chairman  of the Family Reunion,  it gives me pleasure to extend a warm and cordial welcome to our family. Welcome back home! We are extremely honored that you have chosen to participate in these activities.

                 Louisiana is blessed with an array of unique cultures that compliments and enhance our rich history and cultural diversity. We  are pleasured that you decided to join us at the Albert Bennett and Mary Josephine “Mae Joe” Moore Family Reunion.

                 To our relatives and friends, if this is your first visit to our state, Louisiana, it is the perfect place to start your Louisiana experience. We have a hearty portion of all that Louisiana has to offer from French, to Cajun, to downtown Southern.

                 On behalf of the Family Reunion Committee, we invite you to experience this unique city’s food, music and heritage.

                 Louisiana is one big gumbo pot-there’s so much to do here and so many kinds of people to experience  it with. Sample unique dishes like crawfish ettouffee’ and jambalaya. Some come do down, ya’ll Follow the second line to Zachary (Louisiana)! Hometown of our family members and longtime acquaintances Doug Williams, the first black quarterback in professional football; Robert “Sonny” Williams, former professional football player of the Cleveland Indians; Michael Williams, professional football player (quarterback), with the Canadian League; and last but not least, former professional baseball player with the San Francisco Giants Jessie Huggins.
