The bands

The Switch Band
A group of talented musicians who have been playing music in the Capital Region for more than 20 years, The Switch Band specializes in the sounds of Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison and many other classic rock hits from the 50's to the present. Playing classic rock and cover songs, The Switch Band's style is "classic rock hits...with Parrothead madness!"

Ernie Williams
Although the band members have changed through the years, Ernie has remained one of the most beloved performers in the region.   From the House of Blues in Boston to Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago; from festivals to opening slots for major recording acts such as B.B. King and Aretha Franklin, Ernie has been a force to be reckoned with.   Ernie and his band represented the East Coast in KLON's National Blues Talent Search and walked away with a prize for first runner up; on two occasions they received a Critic's Choice column in the "Chicago Reader".   To date, Ernie has released eight CD's.
At 80 years young, Ernie continues to say "this is just the beginning".  Knowing his spirit and motivation, that's entirely possible!

John Morse
John Morse and his band have been playing all over the northeast for over twenty years, specializing classic rock, blues and original music. Morse and his band have been described as early Stones and Doors with some Weird Al humor. They have been critically acclaimed worldwide and have a very strong underground following. The band is currently working on a new CD.

Brandon's story

Brandon Andrew Piterniak was born on January 20, 1985, three months premature by Caesarian section at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.  He spent the first several months of his life at Albany Med's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in order to finish developing.  Brandon showed from the start - weighing in at only 1 pound, 13 ounces - that he was a fighter.

Brandon was the beloved son of Patty G. Anderson Rubino of Melrose and Nicholas A. Piterniak III of Cohoes. He was a lifelong area resident and was educated in the Mechanicville and Cohoes schools. Brandon was employed by the Recreation Department of the City of Cohoes for two years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.  Brandon belonged to the Cohoes Junior Youth Boxing Club and was the 2001 unopposed boxing champion in his weight class.  He was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan.

Dearly loved by family and friends, Brandon brought great joy to life for his 21 short years.  He will be missed and loved always.
