Actors, Vagabonds and Such is the official theater group of North
Idaho College. We're making a lot of changes this year, including a new
improv group and plays created entirely by students and other local
talent (including writing, directing, acting, tech...well, you get the
idea). Please feel free to use this space to meet and keep in touch with
the rest of us theater addicts and let us know how we can improve the
group for you.
AVAS meets weekly on Thursdays at 3:00PM in Boswell 231. If this time is inconvenient for you please let us know and we will try to create a schedule that will accommodate everyone.
FOR THE 'A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM' REHEARSAL SCHEDULE, CLICK HERE 10/20/06 WE'RE BACK! Well, we were down for awhile, and I'm still not sure why, but we've switched over to Angelfire for the time being, so that problem should be taken care of. A lot has happened between then and now with a lot more about to take place. I'll try to update the pages as soon as I can, particularly the repertore and improv pages.
9/29/06 We have scripts for three plays that are each approximately ten minutes long, so if you would like to be involved in one of them please let us know. We will be casting shortly, so the sooner the better. We also now have a fair few auditions and play dates for you all to look through. Just click the links to the left and enjoy! 9/25/06 It's taken awhile, but we've finally resolved the problems we were having with the photo gallery and we've linked it to the main site. We're going to try accepting photos from members for now, but I'm not sure what our bandwidth will allow. We'll just have to see. As you probably noticed if you've been here before, we've changed the layout a little. We're using Front Page now so I'll be able to work on the site at the college now, which means I should be able to update more often, homework permitting. If you've been here before you probably also think that meetings are at 4:00. That was my mistake and I apologize. Meetings are currently held at 3:00PM, but as ever we will try and accommodate you if you let us know what times would work better. 8/30/06 As you can probably tell, this site is still under construction. Please bear with us. We're trying to put up a photo gallery and forum, unfortunately we're having a little trouble with the script. If there are any net savvy people out there we would really appreciate the help. For the moment we have a temporary pictures page that we hope you will enjoy.
