Arts Electric, Inc., is a non-profit artists' cooperative dedicated to the enrichment of the community through art education and workshops, and to the creation of networking and exhibition opportunities for up-and-coming as well as established artists both by maintaining studio and gallery space and by working with local businesses and leaders on community projects.
Looking for a chance to show your work? Though our gallery and studios won't officially open until mid-May, we are already planning exhibitions and working to build a network of local artists and art
enthusiasts. Artists interested in opportunities to display their work should contact us at artselectricinc@yahoo.com In house, we plan to hang an
eclectic mix of solo, dual and juried shows that will cater to the experienced and amateur alike. We'll also be working with local businesses to create impromptu
galleries all over town; we currently sponsor monthly shows at www.mcgeesirishpub.com McGee's Irish Pub in downtown Anderson - come out the first Monday night of the month to see great local art, enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and meet the artist.
Arts Electric believes that every child deserves a chance to show off their creativity. To that end we hope to offer free weekend workshops to the children of the community to explore different media and techniques, learn about famous art and artists, and make new friends.
If you or your business is interested lending a hand, contact us at artselectricinc@yahoo.com All donations are tax deductible.
