Alex Rodriguez is one of today's best ball players. Despite his recent struggles and unfair criticism, Alex has still put up good numbers .290/35/121/113 in what many in the media have said is an "off" year.

Alex will no doubt comeback in the 2007 season and have a monster year. The main question that will flank him unforuntately for the rest of the year is will he or will he not opt out of his contract. I personally hope he opts out, not because he can't handle/play New York, but because I would like for him to return to his natural position SS. In my opinion he should have never given his position up, but of course hindsight is 20/20.
