This site was designed to persuade tourist to visit this beautiful country, and also to aid those already trying to come here.  The following is information on the country its self, and how to come and visit.

China is the third largest country in the world just beating out the United States.  China is a very diverse place with large barren deserts in the west, enormous mountain ranges, lush forests, and bursting metropolouses.

China is also the most populous country in the world with multiple cities with populations over ten million.  these ancient cities are filled with historic monuments, temples, and palaces.  China also has some of the most modern buildings pushing the edges of engineering.  China is also hosting the 2008 summer Olympics and is creating one of the most exstensive  Olympic complexes ever constructed.

China is experiencing a rapid increase in environmental problems related to its rapid increase in fossil fuel use, this relates directly to the man-land tradition of geography

China has multiple ethnic groups, from over one billion Han Chinese to Tibetans and Mongols, this relates to the area studies tradition of geography.

China has seen an up swell of enrollment in universities and has a large number of them that continues to grow, on of the fastest growing fields is the earth science field and tradition as the Chinese attempt to better understand the world that they live in.
