The Association of Puerto Ricans and Latinos United of Manchester is an organization whose goal is to provide events and places to promote the Puerto Rican and Latino culture in the town of Manchester. By working with these two communities, the organization can help to create an understanding and a partnership of the Puerto Rican and Latino cultures with the other different cultures in Manchester.

The current president, Ezekiel Alejandro, has been promoting this outreach to the community though APLUM sponsored events. Most recently these include the Three Kings Day Celebration, and the Hispanic Experience. The week of June 5th APLUM will be present at Heritage day to show its support for the community and to explain its mission.
