ANNOUNCING!

August 2009 Conservation Tax Incentive

Our Hikes:

  • November 7, 2009 – Please join the board and members of Appalachia Ohio Alliance for our final hike of 2009. We will tour the Blair-Jones property in Hocking County. Join AOA President Brian Blair as we tour his scenic conservation easement protected property located in Good Hope and Laurel Townships in Hocking County. The hike begins at 10:00 AM at Brian Blair's conservation easement protected property located at 22799 Bigham Rd.

Directions to the property are as follows: 22799 Bigham Rd., which is the dead end of Bigham road, West of Big Cola Road. If you are looking at a map, you will see that Big Cola is off of State Route 180. In other words, the directions are, from Route 33: take SR 180, about 7 miles west to Big Cola. Right on Big Cola. Veer right at the bath tub (Little Cola Rd) to stay on Big Cola. Go another mile or so, Left on Bigham, go to end.

For information on the hike, contact Brian Blair at: brianblair@ohiohills.com

Also, just a reminder that AOA is having its annual dinner on November 15, 2009 at the Brass Ring Golf Club and Restaurant at 2:00 PM. For reservations and details contact Steve Goodwin at: swgoodwin@earthlink.net or Nancy Green at: nahg@hocking.net
