Introduction
Welcome to the Anne Frank Webquest! From here on out you
will work in teams to re-discover history. You will travel
back in time to when Anne and her family lived. When your
quest is done, you will share what you learned with your
classmates in the form of a poster, scale model, or PowerPoint.
The Process - Overview
Your task is to work in groups to do some historical
detective work. Teams of 4 or 5 students will use the
links to Web sites we have provided to complete the
worksheets. Once your team has finished the detective
work, you will be ready to make your final project. At
the end, each group will present its findings to the
rest of the class. It is important to remember that ALL members of
your team must contribute, otherwise it wouldn't be a TEAM EFFORT and
the group grade will suffer. Enjoy your exploration, and do your best!
For detailed instructions on what to do, check out the PROCEDURE.

Conclusion
Congratulations! You've completed the Anne Frank WebQuest.
You have explored Anne Frank's life, writing, and the time and
culture in which she lived. All of this information will help you
understand Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett's play that recounts
the Franks' experiences during WWII. Your historical "detective work"
will enable you to answer the questions: Who was Anne Frank; What
motivated her to write in her diary; and, How do her writings help
us to understand World War II, the Holocaust, and Anne Frank herself.
Happy Reading!
