When the Carter woman married the Cochran man, the
union brought together
a very strong Native American background, which has
likely never been recorded nor documented on any Indian
Rolls.
She never knew about her father's heritage, so the
search continues for
her grandchildren.
There are many surnames in this union being researched;
it is always a work
in progress; there are many theories, so take
what you find and hold on to it
for future reference.
Someday our Elders will show us the true
facts.
