Danielle Session has been the Church Administrator for Ninth Street Baptist Church since the fall of 2005. She made the switch from corporate business to non-profit after feeling called to use the skills she was blessed with to further the goals of Ninth Street.

The daughter of Dennis and Linda Dillon of Lawrence, Kansas, Danielle is a native Nebraska and graduated for Scribner High School in 1995. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri in 2002 and moved to Lawrence to be closer to her family were she accepted a job with Enterprise as a rental manager after which, she joined the staff of Ninth Street. She is much fulfilled knowing she is able to use her God given skills to benefit the church.

Danielle shares her life with her husband Terrell, and their ten year old daughter, Kiara. She enjoys reading, traveling and visiting with friends and family, as well as the fellowship of her church family.

Tabatha and her family moved to Lawrence, KS May of 2003 where her husband, Earnest Collins, Jr. is an assistant football coach for the University of Kansas. She joined Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church in May of 2004 and baptized by Pastor René Brown on June 6th of the same year. Tabatha graduated from Vincennes University with an Associates Degree in June of 1993 and currently working on her bachelor degree in Management with the University of Phoenix online.

Tabatha’s responsibilities as Church Secretary include but are not limited to performing general office work, maintaining supplies and various files, keeping records and compiling these into periodic or occasional reports. Gather, open and sort all church correspondence for appropriate response and distribution, excluding mail that is marked “confidential.” Correspondence may include, but not be limited to announcements, invitations and engagements, business statements, invoices, insurance papers, publications, etc. Tabatha also acts as required, during Pastor’s absence in making decisions or taking any necessary action not requiring supervisory approval. She is responsible for maintaining the master list of member names and addresses for the church directory and designing a form to update information for members. Her responsibilities also include assisting the church clerk in obtaining information and producing copies of the updated information, maintaining the upkeep of the copier and telephone and submitting monthly meter readings to DPL.

Tabatha is responsible for putting together church bulletins for worship service on Sunday and special efforts and events. Some of her other responsibilities include exercise tact, courtesy and diplomacy in receiving callers, personal or telephone and keep calendar of appointments, notify committee members of meeting dates, prepare bulletin boards, order literature and office supplies and assist in training new office workers. The church secretary/administrative assistant’s job is to perform general office work in relieving Pastor of minor executive and clerical duties. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times. The Pastor supervises this position.
