   Other Projects: First Term (2007-2008)


 I. The 59th Eng Adopt-A-Scholar

   Project Description: The batch will adopt one child through the World Vision Philippines by donating a certain amount to the organization. This donation will be used in helping the child with his/her basic needs: education, shelter, and food, among others.


II. ENGvironment Friendly: 59th ENG in the forefront of environmentalism

    Project Description: The 59th Engineering Assembly, will tie-up with the WWF-Philippines as to be tapped with different programs that are directed towards the preservation and protection of the environment.


III. LibrENG Library

      Project Description: To adopt a public school in Baseco and pledge to build/ restore a library. Members of the batch will volunteer in rebuilding the library and donate books and even educational CDs for the school


IV. The 59th Eng External Linkages for Thesis Assistance (ELTA) Series

        Project Description: Together with the Engineering College Assembly (ECA), this program will invite different companies or corporations outside DLSU which are capable of assisting 59th ENG students with their thesis whether financially or technically and have them discuss the procedures for availment of their program.  


V. 59th BiddENG

          Project Description: A fundraising activity for the batch where collectible items are to be bid. Collected money are to be allocated for the batch activities like socio civic activities


VI. Speaking Minds: A 59th ENG Roundtable discussion on University and National Issues

            Project Description: Select 59th ENG students from different courses will be invited to discuss the university and national issues that directly affect them and what they can do about it. 



              Project Description: This is a sports fest for the members of the batch. There would be a 3 on 3 basketball game, 5 on 5 football game and a doubles badminton game.
