The Thanksgiving weekend was beautiful. We took Striker to Shinnecock East (Long Island) for a walk. We were sure he would go into the water but the waves that lapped his paws must have been a little scary to him. We knew that by next year he would be braver. That was my last walk with him. He died the next weekend.
