Porterville Ghost Society Membership Information
PGS is accepting membership requests to join our group. We will take serious inquiries only. Please send us your biography, contact information and 2 personal references along with the required membership application. Please consider the following before applying;
*Must be 21 years of age and ask yourself……. “Will I be able to pass a background investigation”?
*You must not have any felony convictions.
*No alcoholic beverages are allowed before or during an investigation.
*Drugs or drug use are not allowed under any circumstances. We have ZERO tolerance.
*Special Note: If any member is believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs you will be terminated immediately and forfeit any dues, right to and use of all or any equipment and goods purchased with group funds.
*Must be willing to commit to meetings, spending some of your time to investigate, analyze and research information, set up and tear down.
*Must be respectful of others property and goods.
*Must adhere to professionalism, privacy and confidentiality at all times. Any breach of this will result in immediate termination or suspension, depending on the action.
*Must be willing to accept leadership decisions and cooperate for the benefit of the group.
*Must be respectful to and exhibit tolerance towards others.
*Must be willing to work in different kinds of weather, temperatures and situations including overnight or early morning investigations.
*Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Tulare County.
*Must bring ideas and input to enrich the group.
*Must be willing to invest in some of your own equipment.
*Must be able and willing to pay membership dues which are used for expenses related to investigations such as investing in new equipment.
