SAGE LAUNCHES UPDATED SOFTWARE

 

Sage, one of the worlds leading providers of accountancy software has launched the latest version of Sage Line 50, which is aimed at the small - medium business market.

The product has been updated to keep pace with recent changes in legislation and developments in technology. The software is now more suited to e-commerce and is able to handle late payment charges, as well as giving users increased credit control. The updates also ensure the product is year 2000 compliant and Euro compatible.

Mark Searles, Marketing Director of Sage explains "With the constant changes affecting business accountancy, such as the introduction of the Euro in Europe, it is vital that we are continually developing our software to meet the demands of our customers. The new Sage Line 50 will ensure that Sage remains the worlds leader in assisting SME's to manage their account systems effectively."

It has taken the company two years of development R&D and customer testing to ensure the product is meeting clients needs and expectations. The new Line 50 has been designed to be easy to use and has the ability to integrate into other software packages such as Microsoft.

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT UNIT PLANNED FOR NORTH LEGAL FIRM

The unit is to be launched by Neil Robson, Ward Hadaway partner and new head of the division, with a seminar to clients and potential clients.
