Pe foam extruder

Polyethylene Foam.

A: Low-density polyethylene foam is a thermoplastic obtained through the high-pressure free radical polymerization of ethylene. First commercialized in 1940s, LDPE Foam is the oldest member of polyethylene family of resins. Specific gravity= 0.9.

B: It combines a number of desirable properties. These include chemical inertness, sealability, vapor barrier, thermal resistance, odorless, self-fire extinguishing, harmless to environment and human beings. LDPE Foam has full range of additives like, Antioxidants; which inhibit atmospheric oxidation and its degradative effect on a polymer system. They minimize degradation during fabrication, storage and use. Antistats; surface active additives who dissipate static charge build-up plastic surface. Flame retardants; the intent of flame retardancy is to increase the ignition resistance of P.E..Foam, reducing the general risk to life and limiting damage to property.

C: PE.Foam whether used alone, blended, or in co-extruded combinations with other members of the PE resin family is a major factor in HVACR, Construction, Agriculture, Defense, O.E.M., Industrial, Supports, Toy, and variety of consumer market applications. It is non-odor, and since no (H) CFC’s / SMF’s are used in its manufacturing therefore it is rated as environment friendly.

D: P.E Foam products and machinery are being produced and manufactured around the world.
