Welcome to Planned Parenthood of the Columbia/Willamette's Peer Education Online Learning Center!  We commend you for your desire and commitment to this program.  Planned Parenthood's Education Department has trained peer educators for over 15 years.  You are now part of a tradition of providing accurate and age appropriate sexuality education to the communities of Portland, Vancouver and the surrounding areas.

  I am glad you found this site.  This is where we will spend 2 weeks in September learning, chatting, and sharing information, as well as continue our learning throughout the year.  Check this page often because it will be updated with new information regularly!

  Let me start by orienting you with this website.  I encourage you to play around with it to become familiar with the format.  This first page will be for general information.  From this page you can click on the dialogue circles on the left to find other sources of information.

  The second box has related website links.  This is where important sexuality websites will be posted.  Many of them talk about sex and related issues and while you check out the websites, make sure you pay attention to the messaging they use when talking about teen sexuality and the way that questions are answered.

  The next page is our assignments page.  Yes, we will have certain assignments to complete during training.  It is important that you keep on track with the work, its not a lot, but it will be a heavy load if you don't keep up with the assignments and try to do it all at once!

  Then we come to the page with the calendar.  This will keep you on track with your homework assignments and what to expect from training in the next few weeks.  Check this page out for dates you have to clear your schedule for, like training days.

  Finally, at the bottom of this webpage you will see an icon that says 'Sign My Guestbook". This is how we will communicate with each other, so click on it and see what people have to say!  Oh, and by the way, the other ads on this site are not connected with us, so don't bother clicking on them.  Sorry about the pop-ups you have to deal with, such is life!
