Peru has a very rich culture because of its history, mixture with other cultures, and its people. It is the same with the religion. More then 90% of Peruvian adhere to Roman Catholic religion. Other religions are permitted and tolerated such as Protestants, Jews, and Muslims.

Actually, Peruvians dress in a western style. They wear jeans, T-shirts, sport shoes, and casual pants that make differences from status and social class. In most cities and towns in the Sierra, highland, people dress typical dresses when they have some important festivals. These clothes are hand made of colored cotton, vicuna, alpaca, and sheep fibres.
