Travels in the Homeland pg 2

Pegasus on Pegmatite

In the far north west of Scotland there is a tiny village called Durness, wild and windswept and location of Smoo Cave - an interesting and powerful place. Within the village there is a stone circle made up of all the local rocks. Imagine Don's surprise to find a rock called Pegmatite which is 1700 million years old!

Smile Please!

Don's other hobby is photography - he loves snapping pictures. And here, at Randalph's Leap (near Nairn and Findhorn) there is a lot to snap at.

A horse snapped!

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, for him -I'm also a keen photographer. And I enjoy capturing his enjoyment of the homeland - another shot of him at Randalph's Leap.
