GENERAL INFORMATION

LOCATION
A few hours away from Lima is Markawasi, in the Santa Eulalia Valley, next to San Pedro de Casta, Province of Huarochiri.

ALTITUDE
Markawasi is at 4,100 meters above sea level.

CLIMATE
The climate in Markawasi is quite dry and warm between April and October; from November to March, the fog and rain makes it look very special and mystical. The annual minimum temperature varies between 8°C and 11.2°C. In the months of June, July and August, the temperature, many times gets to under zero. The annual maximum temperature varies from 20.4°C to 26.6°C.

EXPEDITION HUAROCHIRI - YAUYOS INCA TRAIL!!!!
