BRIEF HISTORY REVIEW This region has a rich past, where it was founded, the first group for the future cultures, such as the Mother Culture of the Andean Civilization, Chavin de Huantar (1,700 A.C.) which will have influence in other regions and later cultures. The Recuay or Huaylas Cultures have left very interesting examples of ceramic and statues of rock (Monoliths).
