KRUSTY

Krusty was found as a kitten many years ago. It was one of those cold, cold, winters with snow on the ground when my sister passed a store and saw a little kitten lurking around. He was meowing and my sister could tell he was cold and hungry. She said it was just too cold out to leave the kitten there. She picked him up and made a uturn for home. Later in the week she took him to the vet. She also realized that she could not keep the kitten because she had 2 cats and a dog already, and she had a small apartment. So, she asked me if I could take him. I was skeptical but agreed to take the kitten. We were trying to think of a name for him and my little nephew decided to call him Krusty. I couldn't think of any other name so I kept Krusty. Now 13 years later I am still so very happy with my Krusty!
Things Krusty Likes To Do
Krusty loves to be petted. He usually comes over rubs his body against my leg
and waits for me to stroke his back. When I am sleeping Krusty loves to rub his
head on the covers and waits for me to pat his head. Then he curls up next to me
and goes to sleep. (Precious is usually on the other side of me sleeping) Krusty
loves to sit on his paperbag and just relax. Krusty also likes to hide and sleep
in the cage. I'ts funny because initially the cage was for Precious when she was
bad. But, Krusty has claimed and he likes it because I have it covered all
around and so know one can see if he's in there.
Krusty loves to play with
catnip toys and he really likes for me to play with him using a string and a
toy. Krusty really enjoys playing with Precious as well! He is really gentle
with her and loves her so. Krusty usually lets Precious boss him around.
(Basically he defers to her). But, sometimes when he doesn't want to play he
will let her now by raising his paw, she sometimes will stop.
What Krusty Likes to Eat
Krusty loves to eat wet food and crunchy (dry) food. But, don't think he is a greedy cat because he isn't.
Krusty is definitely a nibbler. He takes his time eating and does not eat his
food all at once. When its time to eat he doesn't come right away, he waits
awhile then eats, but not before he knows the kitchen is clear of me and
Precious. Krusty will eat a little of his wet food then some dry food. He makes
sure he leaves some for his late night prowling. Krusty will only eat Fancy Feast and of course only certain flavors such as:
- Chucky Chicken
- Beef Feast
- Chicken Feast
- Chopped Grilled Feast
- Purina One - Chicken Flavor
- Purina One - Salmon

Unsual Characteristics:
Loves to sit on his paperbag and relax. (Krusty really likes to sit on his paperbag when my friend David comes over. David will then sit next to him. It's as if Krusty is sayng, 'Yea, now I can sit on my bag and hang out with my buddy'). Loves to look out the window; he loves the air on him and likes to watch the birds and squirrels. Loves sunbathing. Krusty loves to have the sun on him and will go to sleep while the sun beams on him through the window. Krusty loves to knead his favorite resting place. When he finds something new, soft, and cushie he rubs his head and body all over it. Krusty truly loves comfort.
QUIET MOMENTS
Krusty truly love his quiet moments. As you can see he loves to sleep as well as play. Krusty also, loves to sleep next to Precious. It gives him so much satisfaction and comfort when he sleeps next to Precious. Also, after Krusty has done his midnight prowling, he will come and join me and Precious while sleeping.
Krusty is my baby. He has been with me through so many ups and downs. I had Krusty before I got Precious. I got Precious after my other dog got fatally ill. When Precious came Krusty liked her instantly. So, he is my baby!!! He is so sweet and dear to me. He's very intelligent and undstands me very well. I recently took Precious and Krusty to my sister's in D.C. They both were so good!!! Krusty didn't tear anything and he used his litter box. He didn't try to run away as most cats do when they are in a strange environment. As long as Precious and I was around, Krusty was happy. This is ditto for Precious.
