At the end of November, I was playing Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, when I saw a strange fish, but had no clue how to catch it. Just today after fishing on Zelda for about an hour nothing happened. I got hungry. I kept it on while eating a slice of pizza, when all of a sudden I heard a stange sound. I looked over, and YES, it was the Hyrule Loach. I dove off my chair, grabbed the controller and went crazy. The whole time I was screaming "THE HYRULE LOACH, MUST CATCH IT, AHHH!" It took me about 5 min...the longest 5 minutes of life I swear. It kept getting closer, than getting farther away. This thing is huge! And I mean huge. Thirty-Five pounds!!!! You don't get much of a reward, 50 ruppees, and he throws it back, but WHO CARES! The whole point is to tell everyone you know that "I CAUGHT THE HYRULE LOACH!", and then they look at you strangly. But back to the fish. The man tells you how much it weighs and how rare it is and then it is over. The fish only bites when it flaps to the top of the water. It is HARD to reel it in. But it is fun! My fingers are still aching from it. That is all about the "Hyrule Loach". If you beat the game and are bored, I reccomend trying to catch it.
