New Found Glory
Fourth picture-
“I can’t believe she came” a curly brown haired girl says.
“Uh? Who?” her friend says.
“Jamie”
“Who’s she?” she demands, putting some lip gloss on her lips.
“She said she wasn’t sure if she would make it”
“Well she did, Gaby” the girl sighs, not giving her friend much attention.
Two girls are sitting on useless speakers behind the security fence. The curly brown haired girl is watching the people walking and going to some show playing somewhere. The other one is looking for something in her purse. Gaby, the one looking around wears ¾ black pants with a dark purple top and a pair of black Pumas shoes. Joscelyn, brown hair and brown eyes, has a black skirt, a stretched black shirt with Watch Me written in red on it and some short army boots. Gaby’s eyes went wide open when she noticed someone she knows, a friend of hers: Jamie.
“Damn, look at her”
“Yeah, so?” Joscelyn says, not caring at all.
“She’s good looking”
“Not nice, killer looking”
“Yeah” Gaby giggles.
“Hey… isn’t it Tony?” Joscelyn asks, now interested, staring at a green haired guy that just waved to Jamie. “Shit, look he…”
“Crap! Tony is one lame ass” Gaby cries out, eyes widened. “He’s asking her to come backstage”
“Look! He told the security guard to let her in! Man, Tony is hilarious” Joscelyn says, laughing.
“Uh, oh! We better… take her away from him” Gaby says as Tony and Jamie walk their way.
“He’s dangerous with girls”
“Who’s the killer looking between them now?” Joscelyn laughs.
“I’ll go take care of that” Gaby exclaims, jumping down the speaker.
INFOS: Gaby. 23 years old. She is going out with Jordan from New Found Glory for almost a year now. She is really independent and its sometimes too much. She likes having fun and she usually tries to solve problems even if its not hers. She works as a guitar coordinator for shows, she is presently part of the Warped Tour staff. Jordan P. 24 years old. Singer for the band NFG. He met Gaby during a tour a year ago. She didn’t know he was a singer, she thought he was taking care of the food (?). He truly loves her and he has difficulties to clearly say it. She never knew his true feeling toward her and she didn’t ask, because of her independence, she never really asked herself questions. But for him, it’s a serious relationship, he’s just really scared of what she thinks.
“Josc” a male voice says behind her.
Surprised, Joscelyn jumps on the speaker a bit. Her purse falls down on the grass. A New Found Glory CD slides away from it with a little red notebook. Worried, she jumps off completely from the speaker to take it all back where it all belongs. But the guy does the same and their eyes meet when they both grab the CD.
“I see where your interest is” he says as the CD disappear in her purse.
“I like the music, that’s all” she replies, obviously using a bitter tone to hide her embarrassment.
“Good, good” he says, giving her red notebook back, because he had time to take it from the ground.
“What do you want, Chad?” she asks to change the subject.
INFOS: Chad, 25 years old, bassist for the band New Found Glory. He has a crush on Gaby’s friend for almost a month now. He couldn’t admit yet.
“I don’t know, just to say hi”
“Cool” Joscelyn says, looking away but touched by his attention.
“What’s up with Tony?” Chad asks, pointing the green haired guy whose dancing stupidly in front of Gaby and Jamie (but only Jamie is laughing).
“Uh?”
“Tony got the girl backstage and Gaby seems to disagree… you know what I mean?”
“Yeah, that’s Tony. Its obvious why the girl got in that easily. Was she walking all by herself with no one else?”
“Yup”
“There’s one of these BBQ tonight, you going?” Chad asks, faking a non-interest.
“Gaby’s going, I’m going” she says, finding what she just said really pathetic.
“Jordan was looking for, I don’t know if he’s still around… but yeah”
“Didn’t see him” Joscelyn says.
Chad smiles a bit embarrassed. Joscelyn knows how arrogant and disinterested she can be, especially with him. But that’s the way she is, some guys just love the attitude.
INFOS: Joscelyn, 21 years old. Brown eyes, brown hair with red streaks. Her best friend Gaby tours with Jordan (NFG) and during summer, Joscelyn went with her as a voluntary roadie. She also knows Genevieve whose Vinnie’s girlfriend (formally known as the Movielife’s singer). She has a crush on Chad too, but she doesn’t want to admit it yet, she didn’t even tell her best friend about it. Who is the lame ass now? * winks *
“Okay. Well, I’ll see you around, ok?” he says, backing off.
“Alright, Chad. See ya later” she replies, giving her a weak wave.
“Ciao”
On that, Chad disappears in the numerous crowd of roadies, VIP people, musicians, girls, etc. Joscelyn sighs, desperate on her own case. She looks at Gaby who probably rolls her eyes at each loser joke Tony makes to impress Jamie. Jamie seems unhappy of Gaby’s presence and she also ignores her real bad, not including her in their conversation (if we can call it a conversation). Joscelyn sighs again; she isn’t the only one to be a desperate case, o no! There are worse, o yes!
