"This new service introduces a number of ‘firsts’, including Song’s entrance into the Caribbean, its first connecting service, and two brand new routes for Delta customers," said John Selvaggio, president of Song. "Song will continue to grow quickly to bring its unique service and innovative approach to travelers in markets across the country. Stay tuned for more information."

Song, which flew its maiden voyage from New York to West Palm Beach on Tuesday, April 15, plans to introduce 144 daily flights by the fall of 2003. In addition to New York City, West Palm Beach, Orlando, San Juan and Las Vegas, Song will service Boston, Washington, DC, Hartford, Ft. Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Tampa and Atlanta. Additionally, Song will serve all three New York metro area airports—JFK, LaGuardia and Newark—the only low-fare service to do so.

Song plans to utilize a fleet of 199-seat, all coach Boeing 757 aircraft, introducing them at the average rate of one per week for 36 weeks. Each aircraft will feature 33 inches of seat pitch, the most of any low-fare product, and all leather seats.

"In addition to offering more low-fare options to customers, these new flights increase the utilization of Delta’s existing assets, including aircraft, technology and facilities," added Selvaggio. "This furthers our efforts to increase the productivity and efficiency of our business in order to offer our customers a stylish, high-class service priced within everyone’s reach."

In October, Song plans to introduce the world’s most sophisticated in-flight entertainment system. Song is partnering with Matsushita Avionics Systems and EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:DISH) and its DISH Network™satellite TV service to provide a complement of on-board amenities, which when fully implemented will include: personal video monitors at every seat; all-digital, satellite broadcast programming; digitally-streamed MP3 programming; pay-per-view programming available on demand; multi-player interactive games that allow play between passengers; and interactive iXplor moving map program with zoom capabilities and points of interest information and connecting gate information broadcast directly to personal in-seat video monitors.

Song has a simple unrestricted low-fare pricing structure with most one-way fares expected to be as little as $79 and no more than $299.* Song offers customers simple, user-friendly pricing options, including 14-day, 7-day, 3-day, walk-up fares and sale fares. Fares do not require a Saturday-night stay. Customers can purchase tickets via the Song Web site www.flysong.com or by calling 1-800-FLY-SONG (1-800-359-7664). All Song flights are operated by Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL). NEW!!!
