Przemek's Poetry

18/12/1998

It was there
I saw it in your eyes
Over and over our eyes met
Staying for only a second each time
But a second was long enough
To see it in your eyes

written about a girl i knew

Leaving Australia

Your eyes pierce mine and don't let go
gently my hand runs through your hair,
touching, then walking your soft skin slowly, lightly
feeling each other's breath,
your lips kiss mine from across the room
leaving them numb as I walk out the door
never to see you again.

written about the same girl

what would you do if i had a gun?
and i stuck it down your throat? TRUE LOVE
what would you do? what would you say?
would you scream?
would you cry?
would you
try to run?
would you
would you
would you
tell me
that you
love me

a poem i wrote in high school about unrequited love

ON THE DAY YOU LEFT

You are laying there so still
I uncover you and stare at your naked body
Still glowing from the love we made hours ago
My hand, rolling like a tear, follows the rivers of your body down
You move and I stop.
In the morning you will be gone, so
I do not want to wake you.
Like a whisper, I kiss you and set off on a dream
joining you laying there so still.

written about an exgirlfriend of mine and our last night

addicted to your sweet taste
the sweetness of your lips
the sweetness of you eyes
like a drug
left to hunger without

EVE

too much solitude
makes one think too much

the dark is coming
and i am alone
waiting for the orange
after the storm

The Rose

Flourishing from a single seed,
Bursting through her bud,
Spreading her beautiful petals.
Inspiring to the observer,
Painful to the touch of the courious
Enclosed in her own world.
Protecting herself from those who love her.
Harming them for being to close.
Wanting to be left alone,
Not picked nor touched,
Just to be admired for the beauty,
Only to whither and die.
Alone.

one of my first poems ever written. i wrote it after my first broken heart.

KARA

We built sand castles of kisses
in our kingdom of dreams

Then like all things;
burn down, erode

tears couldn't stop the flames from turning into fires
twice or thrice wished wishes couldn't stop the tide
from crumbling our kingdom and castles

the dream fell apart
and we cried

written about my second girlfriend in highschool
