Return to heaven denied High quality melodic power metal from Italy once again. The quality factor is once again top notch on this disk. The vocals are some of the most melodic and cringe-free ever put on disk. Nothing cheesy about this band at all in my opinion. Very good fast memorable riffs and dazzling solos mixed with the awesome vocal talents of Rob Tyrant. In fact the most unfortunate thing is the English names the band has decided to give themselves rather than use their original Italian names. the Bassist is called Chris Breeze! Marks off for that!

Timeless crime Yet more highly polished symphonic power metal from these guys. A great cover of old Sanctuary track - Die for my sins with Rob Tyrant doing his best Warrel Dane impression. Classy stuff!

Insights Technical Progressive metal from Holland. Very melodic and a decent vocalist which is not something all prog metal bands can lay claim to!

LoudBlast

Sublime Dementia French thrash death metal with a heavy sound. Decent sound and some decent riffs are displayed. French bands are not normally good but this one is fairly proficient and can appeal to melodic death metal fans.

Luca Turilli

King of the nordic twilight Rhapsody guitarist goes solo and carries on from where Rhapsody left off. This could more or less be a Rhapsody album. It is however slightly less symphonic and over the top as his Day job in Rhapsody. The sound is good, the musicianship is excellent and the melodies flow nicely. One or two of the songs are better than the stuff he does with Rhapsody. The vocals are as good as Fabio Leone in Rhapsody and are sometimes even better. Rhapsody fans will obviously have this and so should all symphonic melodic power metal fans!
