Jaded Heart

Review and Rating
IV Sugary melodic rock is not my usual thing but I heard that this band is quite heavy I though I would give this a try. This is definitely way heavy for a rock band. The guitars rule allright, but in the end its not something I would play very often as the songs are good but not wonderously catchy to play over and over. Good to play once in a while when wanting to try something a bit different. Good heavy hard rock!

More than meets the eye Light prog rock with keyboards well to the fore. The songs are not quite there here but this is quite interesting to listen to once in a blue moon!

Jethro tull

Stormwatch A good Jethro Tull album with one or two great songs like Orion and North Sea Oil. There is also a very melodic acoustic track called Dun ringill which is really good but too short! Ian anderson can pretty much do little wrong and always writes interesting music for the listener to enjoy. Not their best, but an average Tull album with a few highlights.

Roots to branches A latter day Tull album with some interesting middle eastern and African influences. The production is clean but the guitars sound too weak for me when compared to the older classic Tull sound. That is the sound that I much prefer, and Ian's voice has changed for the worse as well. Interesting lyrics as usual!

Aqualung The absolute classic Jethro Tull album that all rock fans should have. This is an album of pure genius from the pen of Ian Anderson, the mastermind behind this band. Classic!

Thick as a brick Another great Tull classic! Basically a 45 minute song that never gets boring if that is possible! Second only to Aqualung.

Painkiller In my opinion this their best album, although O haven't got all their albums this smokes! Crushing guitars, seething solos, screaming yet melodic vocals from the man Halford! All the songs are classics. Hard to pick favourites but the best in my opinion is the title track and also Night Crawler. The rest are all killers as well!
