Dark Sun The Burning Sands

WELCOME TO DARK SUN, THE BURNING SANDS

I live in a world of fire and sand, where fear-filled darkness rules the night. I am the wanderer, traveling far and wide to learn the secrets of Athas so that I may share them with all. Look around you! the sun beats down from a shimmering sky, scorching the life from every thing that moves. Listen to the basic beat of life here, beating with blood, dust, thirst and hunger. This is my love my home Athas. But the land is only part of the picture, Athas is also made up of those who inhabit it. From Humans, who seem to be every where to dwarves, Elves and Mul. Insectoide thri-kreen and reptillian pterran's also live on this strange world as do halflings and Half gaints. This is my world and I hope it will become yours as well.

Heroes are desperatly needed in this harsh and savage world.......Hero's like the ones who stepped foward to destroy the socerer-king Kalak and set Tyr free. Today, Athas rushes toward its future. If the course of destruction is to be diverted, if Athas is to be restored, then more hero's must grab the reins of destiny and give new hope and promise to the world.

This is a Role Playing Board (RP) as you can see it is set in dark sun, more specifically Tyr, the newly freed city state. At the moment the new ruler is Tithian of Mericles, former head templer of Kalak. He has liberated the slaves of Tyr and plunged the city into chaos.It is here that all Player Character's (PC's) interact. If you wish to join it is advised that you have played the Dark Sun Campaign (Ad&d campaign produced by TSR 'Dark Sun is a trademark of TSR Inc.,' etc.).

Rule#1 No killing of other PC's(player characters) unless they agree. Once your character is dead there is no way to bring it back to life.

Rule#2 There is no limit to the number of characters you have, so long as you follow these points:a) No more than 2 of your characters can be involved together in the same RP at one time, and b) All characters must start of as the equivalent of a new character in the Dark Sun game. That is: No super-characters who can fight in mental combat at the same time a physical combat whilst casting spells.

Rule#3 To join, you have to send me a E-mail, saying stuff about your character. .All first posts are introductions.

Rule#4 No speacial Character's eg. Socerer-kings/Queens, this does not count some of the board leaders, like Tithian who is leader of the templers.
