Man In Bondage

There is a man in Bondage

Shackled to his pain ...

That lives within his silent hell

His soul now darkly stained .

His life was long and lonely

his failures longer still ...

Empty now and broken

A man with a Broken will .

caught in the endless cycle

of destruction that came too soon ...

to live a life in daily purgatory

an eternity...he is doomed

Through the fire He reaches for freedom

From the demons that ravage his soul ...

for the touch of cool water upon his lips

if he would only trust....and let go.

tear away the chains of bondage

open your heart for then you shall see

that reaching to the heavens

is the only way you shall be set free

you have purged your sins in fire

You have paid your dues to hell

you have found forgiveness from god above

he knows your heart so well.

just tear away
