Hallowed Ground

 

I reached for what I saw

An out stretched hand

He seemed so far away

This mysterious man

 

Yet he floated to me

On what seemed like hallowed ground

He came to me

Without a sound

 

I started to cry

He touched my head

Said "My child

Do not dread"

 

Just take my hand

And you will see

Your faith and love

Will set you free

 

So as I touched his hand

My heart felt free

For my Lord

Had come to save me .
