Poets A-Sail At Sea

Well, last year this time I was sailing the seas

In my polka dot, striped, plaid bee-keen-neeeee.

We sailed  many a day and many a night,

And in that bikini, I was quite a big fright.

It was definitely spooky and wouldn't you know it

The ship was full of wanna be poets.

Cob webs must have been clouding their heads

As the junk that they wrote gave me much to dread.

There were no treats but plenty of tricks,

The ghouls came out, like from the sticks.

They wrote about moonlight like they were in love.

Jack-o-lanterns glowed, good Lord above.

They weren't like my friends with talent galore,

The ones I left on the American shore.

And with writing like that, I did totally surrender.

Recalling dear friends at Moments To Remember.

Hall-o-ween

Hall-o-ween, oh spooky night
Makes this
poet scream in
fright

Treats being given out by ghouls
So
tricks aren't done by nary a soul

Cobwebs hanging in the moonlight
While candles light up the
jack-o-lanterns

Seeing this on the eve before November
Is a
moment to remember

You may think me a little crazy
But it's just that everything is hazy

When like this I can't think straight
And for tomorrow morning I can't wait.

Happy Hall-o-ween

Once Again Halloween

Once again

It's Halloween

Where we see things so scary

And green

The ghosts, the witches

And Dracula too

Come to your door

Asking for you

They'll giggle and laugh

Sometimes shout boo

But all they want is

A treat from you

So as the night darkens

Look at the best you'll

Have seen give them a treat

 And wish them Happy Halloween

A Colorful Moments to Remember Halloween

Halloween is in the fall,
With all the
cobwebs on the wall.

But there are colors everywhere,
Jack o lanterns on the stairs,
It’s fun to dress on Halloween,
In costumes bold and bright.

But some kids come dressed so spooky

They certainly give me a fright,

The ghouls come out at moonlight

Saying Trick or Treat,

Smell my feet, give me something good to eat.

I laugh at them and say,

As the little kids walk away,

I bet you think your poets,

And don't know it.

The poets Are All Creative
At
Moments To Remember

Tis the first celebration of fall
Halloween in October, that follows September

Brushing
cobwebs from my brain, is a spooky fright
I'm so into it,
I'm dancing with the
ghouls in the pale moonlight

The leaves are changing colors,
 and man, have I got
tricks up my sleeves

So for you, my
poetry friends, with my wicked brain cells in over drive

Will for sure get me no
treats

Jack -O-Lanterns will be all lit and glowing in the night
My broom is all ready and clean to ride
Oh Yeah, I am ready to take flight

Cats with yellow eyes, and their black fur all standing on end
Tis a night for wicked mayhem to begin

The brew is bubbling, sending off a green scented steam
Warted faces and bugged eyes, bucked teeth smile with mischievous gleam

We have all gathered together to have fun and share our writing skills within
If the prize is cash-then let the games begin!

All get ready to hear those dreaded sounds that go bump in the night
Watch for surprises around each corner, costumes young and old will be adorned with delight

Candy is sure favored , but I'd much rather just share the joy sublime
Of Halloween with the celebration, it has arrived just in time

For all who love it as I do
It's all Hallows Eve
But when ya come to right to it
It's only make believe!

My Halloween Adventure

The moon rose high in the Halloween sky,
A spooky old witch fling high before it.
As the moonlight enveloped the ghouls and the imps,
Who wanted to cause fright to all the old poets.
The bats flew free for their chance to cause fear.
While a cobweb floated free, with my face in mind,
As I looked for treats where no others had found.
I called trick or treat as goblins looked on,
And nearly tripped on a Jack O' lantern sitting nearby.
The night was so spooky that even ghosts were afraid
While traveling behind the Halloween parade.
An eerie shriek was heard as a goblin snatched at a witch,
Who made a leap toward the moon and over a ditch.
Little pranksters and monsters made their way for more treats,
Not knowing that a ghoul was following close behind,
Now this is the story of my Halloween adventure,
Never to be forgotten by this Moments to remember, member!
