I tried to dance with God.
I must say, I danced like a clod!
I kept stepping on his toes!
Well, that's how it goes.
Now, before I danced with God,
my dance card was closed!
To that funny old Bible I didn't
want to be exposed.
Sometimes, I danced all alone.
But that was okay, that's all
I'd ever known.
I danced with others, too.
Then, on to someone else, to
someone new.
One day, God nudged me on my
toes.
How dare he! I thought. At best
he's rude, at worst, one of my foes!
Who asked him to stick in his
big fat nose?
But, you know, he intrigued me.
Sometimes, that's how love grows.
I've danced with God for quite a
while.
He seems to appreciate my smile.
I'm getting the hang of it, but
I still step on his toes.
He doesn't seem to care. He just
holds me. Our love grows.
One day I glanced down at his
feet.
My shock couldn't have been more
complete.
I said, "God! You've been
hurt! What happened to you?"
"My dear one," he
said, "I did that for you."
"What do you mean? You did
that for me?"
"Well," he said,
"I wanted you with me for eternity.
I knew that your sin would keep
you far away.
I died for you before you ever
wanted to pray.
It's all been taken care of.
Your sins are far away.
I came to life, and even death
has nothing more to say!
Don't worry. Suppose you and I
enjoy another dance.
Oh, and by the way, would you
give someone else a chance?
Tell someone I love them.
They think I would rather
condemn.
Tell them about the dance.
Please, tell them, they have a
second chance."
Awkwardness and all, I could
have danced all night!
Best of all, I want to show
others how to find God's light.
Fantastic journey through book
of "Revelation."
Amazingly accurate prophecies
of Jesus
were written down a thousand
years in advance.
A touching story about a young
boy
who is set free from his
terror of death
when he reads his
grandfather's final journal entries.
