They Say the Road of Life is Bumpy

There are twists and turns along the Way ...

We Oftentimes don't heed the Warnings

And make the wrong turns day after day ...

It Seems Like Others Have it Easy

We Wonder why They Carry no Load...

Do they have Some Magical Road Map

That leads them Forever Down a Silk Road.

We Shake Our heads and Often Wonder

If they Have no Worries or Cares...

Do they struggle, Do they Suffer

As We Scream Out , It's So Unfair.

But I do know one thing that's For certain

I Would not Change the Way I Go...

Because I've Grown Strong from My Life's lessons

By Never Traveling down A Silky Road.

I have made mistakes and that's a Given

I have tripped and stumbled Many Times...

I've gathered Bruises and Scars Along the Way,

But Everyone Of them are Mine.

I know If My Life Had been easy

This heart I have would not beat inside of me...

I would have never known someone's pain

Or have become the Person I needed to be.

Sure the Silk Road Is So Pretty

Not a place to stumble along the way...

Rainbows bright around every corner

But never as Bright as after the Rain.

Now I do know one thing that's For certain

I Would not Change the Way I Go...
