Spring Blindness

Spring is something we should enjoy
Though something many people keep trying to destroy
We watch and wait for it to come
Then stomp out happiness its brought for some
The growth of nature that we have waited for so long
We try to stomp it out and wonder where have we gone wrong
Have we ever really stopped and ask
Why God has created this wonderful task?
Maybe only to beautify the earth
So why stomp out and destroy natures rebirth
Can't we except this wonderful thing
Which God has created and called it SPRING
Or shall we keep on living in this blindness of ours
While the world around us is being slowly devoured
