Stardust

I saw a star falling to the earth

When I tried to catch it

It turned to stardust

If I send this gift of love

Out to the world

From God's great gift above

Will I touch the one I love

Stardust in the air

May you catch it in your hand

Up to the heavens or in the moonlight

Just some stardust to make it right

As the earth moves

I see a beautiful light

Blow some stardust to the wind

Then let it come back to you again

Magic all around, in the day and night

A twinkle of a star, in  the starlight

Stardust, stardust, make a wish

Land on a flower or mountain high

I see your glow in my hand

Let it touch the one I love

With one wave of the hand

Fairies and angels, I watch the world ride

Heaven puts stardust in my eyes

My hands are a glow

I feel my love, wherever I go

In the meadows, beautiful and new

Sprinkled with a little stardust too
