A Smile Today

Jesus stood at His window that showed,

All the busy world below.

People were dashing here and there,

Pushing and shoving, showing others no care.

Sadly He shook His head in disbelief,

 "What have become of my people?" He said,

"Some even say that I'm dead!"

Many staggered drunk, others did dope,

So many souls with out very much hope.

Sadly He shook His head, a tear drop fell,

To many folks headed straight for hell.

Then He turned to watch a school,

Little children who all played by the rules.

 Innocent children who loved everyone,

     Happily playing together until recess was done.

Then as He watched His features changed,

And do you know what happened next?

 

JESUS SMILED TODAY!
