Through the
Years
Sharon
Branson
Years and years ago I was new
to the web.
And soon I did learn I had
nothing to dread.
A friend sent a page that
truly touched me.
T'was the page of my soon to
be precious friend, Dee.
She wrote of her dog Lucky,
who had recently passed.
Over Rainbow Bridge, unto
lush flowers and grass.
My Mitzi had also crossed
over that road
And knowing they were
together there lessened my load.
We started to write and to
share each others lives.
We giggled and cried and
shared some surprises.
We've grown through the years
with some struggles some grace
And the years have placed
happy lines, at least on MY face.
She cares for her family with
the utmost pride,
Her love for her Hubby and
Mother spreads wide.
And Louise, and Howie, and
Mary Grace.
Dee's love for all, shines
all over the place.
We pray for each other for
what comes along.
We celebrate happiness
singing a song.
Our families are sources of
shares every day.
Sometimes its sadness,
but sometimes we play.
She built me a web page when
Dori did shine
And I wrote for her Grand,
Oscar Thomas so fine.
We take the time daily to
exchange "Hello" sends
And we pledge that our
friendship, will never, ever end.
