Sittin in the clover
Looking over at you
You look so unhappy
And I'm feelin kinda blue

Sittin here wonderin
If I could come and ask your name
I think that I could love you
I only hope you feel the same

I saw you on the seashore
Just the other day
I was sittin there wonderin
If you would ever look my way

I think that I could love you
I only hope you feel the same
But I'll wait until tomorrow
To see if my thoughts are all in vain

Now we're sittin in the clover
Underneath the stars above
And now that we're together
There can't be anything but love
