My Truth Shall Rise

Slowly She rose from the waters edge,

As Moonlight lit the way ...

Finally free from the depths of the sea,

That kept her in bondage from what she must say .

My Truth shall rise to mountaintops.

No longer do I drown in despair...

I am finally free at last

My heart is purged of all fear.

So Long I have been a prisoner

To the pains of times of long ago ...

As I raise myself  from this darkness

On me, You no longer have hold.

Yes I have been purged in darkness

For Oh so many years ...

Robbed of My Youth and Innocence

Walked hells fire of fears.

But night time now has ended

On the horizon a new day dawns ...

Shining a light illuminating the way

In the direction I now am going.

I lift my face to the heavens

As Daybreak  kisses My eyes...

I have found my way at last

Now, My Truth  shall rise.

My Truth shall rise to mountaintops.

No longer do I drown in despair...

Yes , I am finally free at last

My heart is purged of all fear.
