Desire For Help

As I lay in this bed of illness
Stricken by symptoms unknown
I know that if something drastic should happen
That I won't be all alone.
For God is with me where ever I go
While asleep or awake
And if there is a decision to be made
The right one he will make.
For I worship God and all His works
To the highest degree
And while I hold this desire for help
His shadow covers me
