It's Autumn

The leaves are changing colors
Oh, so beautiful to see
The smells of Fall Holidays
Seem to be all around me

Families getting ready
To spend their time with one another

All becoming right on earth
All becoming sisters and brothers

We all are getting ready to give Thanks
for the loving gifts we have been given
People smile on the streets
For no apparent reason

Seems the holidays bring things out
That through the year people do not care about

We break bread at the table and bow our heads in prayer
And all seems right for just this time
Love is spread from here to there

I know this is a special time for us all to rejoice in
But can't we do this all year long?, why only at the years end

Lets unite it together and keep it going
Throughout the whole year through
Let's just imagine its giving Thanks
that we should constantly do

So when you spend your time this year
And reach out to another's hand

Let's just keep it going
all throughout the land
