Christmas in
Florida
Vickie Lambdin
It's Christmas in Florida
And, like everywhere else,
We still speak of Santa
And reindeer, and elves.
Our streets are a glitter
With decorations of trees,
Angels, and mangers
And sights sure to please.
Snow is still falling
In our hearts and our minds,
While out thoughts turn to
Jesus
In this glad Christmas time.
Santa's and sleighs,
Pulled by reindeer with
hoofs,
Adorning the night
On the tops of the roofs.
Though it's warm here, in
Florida,
Our hearts are aglow
With peace, joy, and love,
In the absence of snow.
