Back in the time of the Silver Millenium like Princess Serenity, Kakyuu grew up as a loved Princess of a beautiful city. Her mother Queen Kakyoku was the ruler of Kinmoku and an adored one. When Kakyuu was still very young she met her new friends Taiki, Seiya, and Yaten. Her mother had saved them and now welcomed them into her family. Kakyuu and the lights played together and acted like they where real sisters. When When Kakyuu was close to 14 she and her family went to the Moon Kingdom, there she met the captian of the guards Ausar. Ausar showed Kakyuu around the kingdom, neither of them knowing how much the cared for each other. Kakyuu learned how much she loved him after she left for home. Kakyuu wasn't allowed to marry anyone outside of Kinmoku, but Kakyuu went back to the Moon Kingdom and to Ausar as often as she could. Only her mother and her brother learned of her love and neither disapproved of it. Kakyoku wanted her daughter to be happy, as Kakyuu grew so did her love for Ausar. Until one day she returned to the moon to find it destroyed, he had died. Kakyuu was devestated and what's worst her mother died soon after. Kakyuu did recover but she turned down the many suiters from Kinmoku. She knew she would see her love again one day.
Kakyuu now lives on earth with her brother Shijin, after her planet was reconstructed. She knows that evil is back and is awaiting to help. She keeps an eye on the hidden Senshi and keeps her identity hidden as an normal teenage now 18. Kakyuu enrolled herself in T.A private school and used the Threelights family Kou so her name is Kou Kakyuu on earth. When Kakyuu's powers where given back by EternalSailorSaturn she and her brother joined the battles of the Senshi. Kakyuu befriended many of the senshi, like Amy and Paris. Then one day when Christopher had told they where going to the moon back when the Silver Millennium was. Kakyuu, Shijin, and Ausar looked around. Then Kakyuu and Ausar in the presence of Predator saw their past selves and remembered their love. Kakyuu and Michael are now a couple and enjoy being with each other once again. Kakyuu is very close to her brother she can read him like a book, which sometimes worries him. Kakyuu has many powers, some she doesn't even understand.
Princess Kakyuu is the Star Light's Princess. Her planet was destoryed by Sailor Galaxia. She can become a Senshi if need be. She is sometimes known as Princess Fireball.
