Club Meets More Events Planned (2/24/02).  The USNA Parent Club met today at the McAndrew's estate in Laflin.  The club's next event is candidate night at  Kings College on Wednesday, March 13, 2001.  The program runs from 7- 9 p.m.  Refreshments will be served and potential candidates to USNA treated to an informative evening about life at the Yard.  Our next two club meetings will be held at the Schraeder's and Cantafio's respectively.  Our summer outing will be held at the Cooney's.

When you're planning a trip to Annapolis and are interested in getting together with other members give us advance notice and we'll publish such info at this site.  We'll be organizing for homecoming on the 28th of September for a get-to-gether.

Army-Navy football game is over and done and despite a Navy loss the Beat is happy to report that the entire day was great.  The food, spirit and friendship were outstanding.  To make matters even better was the fact that we had a particularly large turnout of mids, graduates, former instructors and even the Tomcat Pilots.  President Pat and Sandy extend a heart felt thank you to all.

We have been informed that there are no hosts for some scheduled winter and spring meetings.  It has always been the hope of the club that every parent family would host one meeting during the four years they have a mid.  We hopeful yesterday's festivities created some new friendships and greater willingness to host a meeting.
